Jay Jeong, Refinery Market Manager, Global Technology
Jay Jeong is the Refinery Market Manager in Alfa Laval Lund AB in Sweden. He has B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, and has more than 26 years of industrial experience. Jay has been working in Alfa Laval for more than 14 years mainly as Heat Exchanger expert for various process industries including refinery, petrochemical, inorganic chemicals and steel industry.
Since 2017, as the Refinery Market Manager, Jay has been actively helping refinery customers in Asia and Oceania, in handling various process challenges. Finding ways to reach energy optimization in process units including ADU/VDU and various catalytic processes has been one of the main focus areas, while mitigating heavy fouling in FCC/RFCC, desalter and heavy oil processes such as visbreaker and residue hydrocracker is another area of focus.
